Pippin

Performed in fall 2004 by the Pingry School, a private high school in northern New Jersey
Directed by Stephanie Romenkow.

The high school production featured a very large cast. Since the show has a bit of a 'peace and love' vibe, I took my cue from both that and the swirling colors of the set. I used ombré and tie dye techniques to create many varied costumes from a small number of simple white garments. The one exception to this is the Leading Player, who, as the coordinator of the play, is distanced from the others in a slinky black jazz-influenced costume.
