Teaching Experience
Taught the Costume section of the Pre-professional teen camp at Portland Center Stage in August of 2011. Class included handouts, a lecture, questions, and a group design project.
Supervised interns and volunteers in the Costume Shop at Portland Center Stage, as well as on independent design projects- gave and reviewed assignments
Taught ‘Fabric Dyeing for Theatre’ seminars at Washington University and The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in March of 2007. The seminars consisted of 2 sessions, each about 2 1/2 hours, for an average of 8 students and included dyeing natural and artificial fibers as well as buttons, zippers, and other items. Each class included practical demonstrations, handouts, and question sessions.
